Vince McMahon forces his way back to WWE

Vince McMahon is forcing himself back into WWE and he is bringing back two former allies – George Barrios and Michelle Wilson – in his attempt to takeover back his company.

In bombshell news reported by Lauren Thomas of the Wall Street Journal, McMahon has informed the WWE board that he is electing himself back to the Board of Directors along with Barrios and Wilson. McMahon has the power to do so due to his majority shares in WWE. The election of these three means that three current board members have to go.

McMahon has said, according to WSJ, that he would not approve any sale or any televsion rights unless he is the executive chairman. His return is said to be to oversee a sale of the company and WWE shares shot up in after-hours trading due to the prospect of a sale.

What happens to the current leadership team at WWE returns to be seen. His daughter Stephanie is Chairwoman and co-CEO along with Nick Khan while Paul Levesque runs creative and talent.

McMahon resigned from WWE in July following a few sex scandals but lately had a change of heart and blamed bad advice from people close to him over his resignation.
