Saraya cleared to compete by AEW

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Saraya has been officially cleared to compete by AEW’s head medical doctor Michael Sampson.

Saraya got her first taste of action in several years this past Wednesday on Dynamite in a brawl with Dr. Britt Baker following the women trios match. Saraya threw the first punch which led to all other six women to join in as the faces got rid of the heels.

The former WWE Divas and NXT Women’s champion has not wrestled since December 2017 after she was on the receiving end of a kick to the back from Sasha Banks. The match took place just two weeks after her return following neck surgery the year before.
