Tributes from ex-colleagues and friends pour in for Sara Lee

Tributes from ex-colleagues and friends of Sara Lee poured in all night on social media as many expressed their shock at the sudden death of the 30-year-old former Tough Enough winner.

WWE posted a note on the website as well on their social media with a graphic, writing, “WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Sara Lee. Born and raised in Hope Township, Michigan, Lee excelled in powerlifting before eventually joining the sixth season of WWE’s Tough Enough. Lee went on to win the fan vote for Tough Enough and serve as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and fans.”

Her death was covered by other mainstream websites as well such as FOX News, TMZ, ETOnline, The Daily Beast, MSN, Yahoo!, Deadline, and many others.

The women who knew her and worked with her led the online tributes on social media.

Saraya: “This is heartbreakingly tragic. Sending love to her family. Very sweet human who I got the pleasure to know and work with.”

Chelsea Green: “No tweet or amount of words can bring back this beautiful human, but all of my heart goes out to @TheWestinBlake & their family. Sara Lee will be missed greatly. The photo on the left is how I will always remember her – laughing, smiling, carefree.”

Amanda Huber: “My heart feels so heavy. My head is in the hotel room in Jacksonville. Typing up words I never wanted to write. Letting the world know my best friend was gone. My world was broken. My heart is with Cory & their kids. I wish I could do more.”
