Max Dupri gone from Maximum Male Models

PWTorch.com is reporting that Max Dupri has been removed from leading the Maximum Male Models on Smackdown and the introduction of his “sister” Maxxine this week will be his replacement moving forward.

The report by PWTorch states that the man formerly known as LA Knight was not fitting in properly and was rubbing people the wrong way backstage and Vince McMahon pulled the plug on him.

Of course, Vince is now no longer in charge of creative so technically things can change but Dupri was not at Smackdown this week and he knew of the decision when last week he announced that his “sister” would be coming to Smackdown as well.

He has been doing the Maximum Male Models gig since the May 20 Smackdown after he was called up to the main roster from NXT. He wrestled his final match in NXT as LA Knight at Stand & Deliver in April.
