Jeff Jarrett returns to WWE in executive role

Jeff Jarrett, who departed WWE in January after serving as a producer and as part of the creative team, has returned in an executive position with the company according to PWInsider.com.

PWInsider describes it as a “high-level executive position” and he will be working on the WWE live events business, with the site saying that a source described it as the former WCW champion “taking over live events.”

Jarrett, who is also the subject of the next Steve Austin Broken Skull Sessions episode on the WWE Network, will start in his new role next week.

The 54-year-old has been in this business for three-and-a-half decades and has accumulated vast experiences over the years, including creating and running TNA Wrestling.
