Pat McAfee in negotiations with Amazon to join Thursday Night Football too

Smackdown color commentator and fan favorite Pat McAfee could be in line for even bigger things as the former NFL player is in negotiations with Amazon to join their Thursday Night Football broadcast according to the New York Post.

The Pat McAfee Show, which airs on YouTube and SiriusXM, could also be moving to Amazon’s Prime Video platform as part of the deal.

“Hey…Let’s all keep it cool but like.. I’m 1000% UP TO SOMETHING,” McAfee tweeted this week.

If McAfee ends up joining the Amazon broadcast of NFL games, the appointment should not interfere with his WWE duties every Friday. McAfee travels to each Smackdown location via private jet every week and leaves immediately after to go back home.

The 34-year-old had his first WrestleMania match this year, beating Austin Theory and then lost to Vince McMahon. He is well-liked within the company, something which was very evident when even Vince McMahon showed up at his studio for a live interview and then worked with him at Mania.
