Zoey Stark, the former NXT Women’s Tag Team champion, is out injured and that’s why Toxic Attraction took her out in a backstage segment, explaining her absence from television in the next few weeks.

John Pollock from POST Wrestling said that internal WWE documents show that Stark is labeled as injured but it’s not known how long she will be out for or what she’s suffering from.

With Stark out, her former team partner Io Shirai made friends with Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro, who helped the former NXT Women’s champion in her battle against Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. All six women will go head-to-head next week in a six-woman tag team match on NXT.
