Don West says brain cancer is now in remission

In great news delivered yesterday, former TNA announcer Don West has said that his cancer is now in remission.

“After 8 weeks of chemotherapy and 13 treatments of radiation my cancer is now in remission Thank you for everyone’s prayers because they truly worked I look forward to getting back on the radio doing what I love,” West wrote.

He was diagnosed with brain lymphoma back in June and started his treatment immediately to tackle the aggressive cancer. During his therapy, West stopped his radio show on NewsRadio 560 KPQ in Washington, and wrote that he hoped he would be back on the air soon.

West spent 10 years working for TNA, starting from the very beginning in 2002 and his voice is part of some of the most historic moments in the company.
