Smackdown rating for 08/27/2021

The post-SummerSlam Smackdown with the return of Becky Lynch drew a final rating of 2,250,000 viewers on FOX last Friday. That is up 148,000 viewers from the previous week and the best audience since July 16. Smackdown was actually pre-empted due to NFL pre-season in many markets so the number would have been even more impressive if it was not for that.

In the overnight numbers, which ended far from the final one, the first hour was registered as 2,933,000 viewers and the second hour had 2,815,000 viewers. This was including those watching NFL so the final number has been filtered just for Smackdown. Smackdown did 0.59 in the 18-49 demo, beating everything else on network and cable television for the night. (Ratings: Showbuzzdaily.com)
