AEW’s debut at the Arthur Ashe Stadium outselling WWE at Madison Square Garden

AEW’s debut in New York City at the Arthur Ashe Stadium has so far outsold WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden with over 14,000 tickets sold according to the @WrestleTix Twitter account.

The US Open tennis stadium is configured to hold just under 17,000 seats so AEW doesn’t have much left to sell out the event. This will be the biggest audience that AEW has performed in front of so far and the show will sell out by the time it comes around.

Titled Dynamite: Grand Slam, this show will take place on September 22 in Flushing, New York and AEW President Tony Khan is promising another big surprise. Tickets went on sale to the general public today and are still available through Ticketmaster.com.
