In a post on her LinkedIn, Amy Tunick, who was hired by WWE as the Senior Vice President of Talent Management just two months ago, noted that WWE has abandoned the idea just five weeks after it started operations.

Tunick came in from her VP role at WarnerMedia with high hopes that the new in-house Talent Management Group would deliver support for WWE’s talent to maximize monetization opportunities for them and the company.

“Unexpectedly, the company made a decision to change course and disbanded the new team after just 5 weeks,” Tunick wrote.

WWE hired seven individuals in total to run the department. Joining Tunick were three directors, Michelle Rubin, Chanel Landreaux and Steven Kaye, and three managers in Tavia Hartley, Austin Freeland and Micheal Davis.
