The NXT Tag Team titles are being vacated due to Danny Burch’s shoulder injury and NXT General Manager William Regal will address the state of the titles further tomorrow night on NXT on USA Network.

Burch was injured last Wednesday while defending the titles with Oney Lorcan against Finn Balor and Karrion Kross. WWE medical personnel attended to Burch at ringside after he landed badly on his shoulder and he was not allowed back in the ring to finish the match. His tag team partner finished the match, pinning Balor.

With Burch seemingly out for a long time, Regal said that due to the unfortunate news, he will have to make the difficult decision to vacate the NXT Tag Team titles.

Burch and Lorcan have been champions for over 150 days, defeating Breezango on the October 21 episode of NXT on USA.
