Stephanie McMahon discusses WrestleMania 37 at RJS and return of fans

Speaking to TheWrap.com, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon said that running WrestleMania after the Super Bowl at the Raymond James Stadium worked out well for them this time around as they will hopefully learn from the NFL about running a big event in a pandemic.

“It certainly does, I think, this year, work to our favor to be the event after the Super Bowl in the same stadium, especially given all of the key learnings that the Super Bowl will have,” McMahon said. “And hopefully we’ll be able to glean some insights from them in terms of what works, what doesn’t work, what we need to do to really ensure the best experience possible.”

McMahon refused to divulge information about capacity plans for the show but is hopeful that fans will be in the stadium. WWE announced that ticket information will be announced soon. She also told TMZ.COM that they’re still working out on logistics for fans to be part of the show but she’s thrilled and excited to have WrestleMania, hopefully, as the first event to hold fans since last March.

And as for announcing multiple WrestleManias at the same time, Stephanie said that it helps them for planning purposes and it helps fans to organize their trips better. “And now we can really work with all of our partners across the board in all of these major cities and really blow everything out as big as we possibly can,” McMahon said.
