Smackdown rating for 01/01/2021

The New Year’s Day episode of Smackdown drew just 1,915,000 in the overnight ratings, down 1,338,000 viewers from last week’s record-high number. The last time Smackdown aired on January 1 was in 2019 and it did 2,091,000 viewers.

The first hour of Smackdown drew 1,996,000 viewers and then followed with 1,834,000 viewers in the second hour. Smackdown was #1 in 18-34 with 0.3, #1 in 18-49 with 0.5, and #1 in 25-54 with 0.6 rating. Smackdown finished last among the four big networks in overall viewership.
