Two gimmick matches added to NXT New Year’s Evil broadcast

WWE added two gimmick matches to the loaded NXT New Year’s Evil card which will take place on January 6 from the Capitol Wrestling Center live on USA Network.

The Fight Pit match will be returning for another round with Timothy Thatcher once again being part of the match. His opponent this time around will be Tommaso Ciampa. NXT last held a Fight Pit match in May when Matt Riddle lost to Thatcher with Kurt Angle as the guest referee.

The women will also be featured in a last woman standing match as Rhea Ripley takes on Raquel Gonzales. These two had a few gimmick matches already and this will most likely be the final match of the feud.
