Vice TV renews Dark Side Of The Ring for a bigger third season

Vice TV has officially renewed Dark Side Of The Ring for a third season which will carry a whopping 14 episodes. It is expected to make its premiere sometime in 2021.

“Dark Side of the Ring is a knockout show for Vice TV. The tag-team executive producers Evan Husney and Jason Eisener are true heavyweight champions of the world (of TV), and we are so excited to pin down a third season of this incredible series,” said Morgan Hertzan, executive vice president and general manager of Vice Television. “Seasons 1 and 2 of Dark Side of the Ring are examples of the compelling, thought-provoking, and engaging storytelling we champion here at Vice TV. We can’t wait to see what the series will throw down in the third round!”

Universally praised by both fans and critics, season two of Dark Side Of The Ring covered topics such as the Chris Benoit double murder-suicide, the Brawl For All, the murder of Dino Bravo, the death of Owen Hart, and other topics. It had 10 episodes in total, four more than season one.

Eric Bischoff recently let slip that he has filmed segments for two upcoming episodes of Dark Side Of The Ring, one to discuss Brian Pillman and one to discuss WCW’s trip to North Korea for the Collision in Korea event in 1995.

The series is Vice TV’s highest-rated show.
