Captain Charisma had his first match in a WWE ring in six years yesterday on Raw although the unsanctioned match was pretty quick and didn’t go according to his plans.

Randy Orton challenged Christian for the match at the start of the show and Christian accepted even though The Big Show and Ric Flair tried to talk him out of it during the course of the show. The match had an unexpected twist as before the bell rang, Ric Flair came out to once again convince Christian not to take the bait.

But the former World Heavyweight champion didn’t want to hear any of it and told Flair he had to do this. But as soon as he turned around, Flair hit the low-blow from behind and while Christian was down, Randy Orton hit him with the punt kick and pinned him for the very quick match that seemed over before it even started.

Flair, who recently signed a new WWE deal, has turned heel again but his new association with his former Evolution partner was not explained.
