Participants for the two NXT WarGames matches announced

The four teams that will be taking part in NXT Takeover: WarGames 2019 have been largely set with only two competitors left to be announced.

There will be two WarGames matches this time around, one featuring the women and one featuring the men. This is the third year in a row that the WarGames gimmick match will headline NXT Takeover during the Survivor Series weekend.

The women’s match will feature Rhea Ripley, Candice LaRae, Tegan Nox and Mia Yim taking on Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair and a competitor still yet to be named.

The men’s match has Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong taking on Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle, Keith Lee, and another partner still to be announced.

While this will be the first-ever WarGames match featuring the women, it will be the second year in a row all of The Undisputed Era will be part of the WarGames match and the third year in a row that Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly will be in the match.
