Xavier Woods undergoes successful Achilles tendon surgery

Xavier Woods, one third of The New Day, underwent successful surgery for an Achilles tear, an injury which happened on day one of the Australian tour this week.

The former multi-time tag team champion will be out for a long time as such injuries can take up to six months just to perform basic activities and a further six months before it’s completely healed.

Woods uploaded a video on his social media labeling it as “Day 1,” showing him assembling the iWALK, a hands-free crutch that will allow him to walk without putting pressure on his ankle.
