Dwayne Johnson says he “quietly retired” from professional wrestling

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson told Maria Menounos on Live with Kelly and Ryan that he has “quietly retired” from professional wrestling although he loves and misses wrestling.

Johnson said that he was lucky enough to accomplish what he wanted to accomplish in the business and had a wonderful career in the ring but there’s nothing like a live crowd and a live mic.

The Rock credited his time in wrestling, especially his very first match at Madison Square Garden, for getting him where he is today as the “Rocky, Rocky” chants set him on a path in his career which ultimately led him to here.
