Smackdown non-televised live event for Monday in Lowell, Massachusetts canceled

The Smackdown non-televised live event for this coming Monday at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts has been canceled.

Since it has not been rescheduled for a different day, all tickets purchased via credit card will be automatically refunded and tickets purchased with cash at the Tsongas Center box office must be returned to the point of purchase in order to be refunded.

No explanation was given as to why the show was canceled but WWE just wrapped up the 10-day European tour and are on the way back to the United States for tomorrow’s Money In The Bank plus some Smackdown stars will be appearing on Raw due to the wildcard rule. It would not be a surprise if in the future, all Monday non-televised live events are canned. Having the top Superstars of Smackdown on Raw would probably force WWE to offer refunds for those Monday events and it will be more cost-effective to not run shows that day rather than go through all the expenses and still have to offer refunds to those who take the offer.
