Seth Rollins injured and out for around a month

John Pollock of PostWrestling.com is reporting that Seth Rollins is dealing with an injury and will not be involved in anything physical over the course of the next month.

The injury – not yet disclosed – took place before Rollins was destroyed by Lesnar on Raw last week with a total of six F5s and it’s probably why they chose to go that route since it serves as a good backdrop of why Rollins cannot compete.

The Royal Rumble winner did not wrestle during the weekend live events but is expected to appear on Monday Night Raw tonight. This injury will keep Rollins out of action beyond the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view but he looks like he will be recovered in the several weeks leading up to WrestleMania 35.

The last serious injury Rollins had was in 2015 where he tore his ACL, MCL and medial meniscus in his knee while attempting to execute a sunset flip powerbomb during the first stop of the European tour in November. The injury, which required surgery, kept him out of action for six months and forced him to vacate the World Heavyweight title.
