There are new Raw Tag Team champions and they are the Authors of Pain!

The former NXT Tag Team champs defeated Rollins and Ambrose on Raw last night from Manchester although in reality it was a handicap match as Dean Ambrose never showed up to help Rollins defend the titles.

The AOP, who haven’t done much since their main roster call up from the night after WrestleMania 34, recently aligned themselves with 205 Live GM Drake Maverick who serves as their manager.

Akam and Rezar have been signed to a WWE deal since 2016 and made their debut at NXT Takeover: The End by attacking American Alpha. They won the 2016 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and at Takeover: San Antonio in January 2017 they won the NXT Tag Team titles from #DIY. They lost the gold to SAnitY at Takeover: Brooklyn III which was their first loss in NXT.
