WWE returning to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel in November

WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia on November 2 for another event, this time titled WWE Crown Jewel, to be held at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh. The show will air live on the WWE Network.

This is the second event of a 10-year agreement that the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia Chairman His Excellency Turki Al Sheikh and WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon signed earlier this year.

The main event this time around will be Roman Reigns defending the Universal title against Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar in a triple threat match. There will also be a WWE World Cup tournament but no other details were given.

The controversial idea of hosting a show in Saudi in April was met with mixed criticism as the women were not allowed to compete and WWE were blasted for their double-standards but the event paid off big time as WWE got paid tens of millions of dollars for the show.

Just like the Greatest Royal Rumble, no women will be part of this show. WWE still paid the women for that event even though they did not participate.
