WWE will be crowning its NXT UK Women’s champion this weekend during the NXT UK television tapings in Birmingham, England. These tapings will be part of the Insomnia gaming festival at the NEC.

A tournament held over both taping days – on Saturday and Sunday – will see eight female talent battle to become the inaugural champion. The competitors are Dakota Kai, Isla Dawn, Jinny, Millie McKenzie, Nina Samuels, Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, and Xia Brookside.

These are the second batch of tapings for NXT UK following the initial stuff filmed in July. While no date has been set as to when these will air, a commercial that ran during SummerSlam listed that the brand is coming “soon.”

The NXT UK Women’s title will be presumably also defended at the upcoming Evolution pay-per-view.
