WWE pay-per-views switched to four-hour format

Say goodbye to three-hour WWE pay-per-views as starting from Money In The Bank, all WWE shows will be four hours and all of them will start at 7PM EST.

But that is not all, the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series will go for five hours starting at 6PM EST and that is not including the Kickoff show.

A one-hour Kickoff show typically serves as the lead-in for the pay-per-views with Mania getting a two-hour show for a seven-hour broadcast.

Since WWE went back to a dual-brand, once-a-month only pay-per-view format, a three-hour show was not enough to showcase all the talent, hence the extra hour.
