Finn Balor explains why he did not get the rainbow gear at the Greatest Royal Rumble

Something else that WWE fans noticed at the Greatest Royal Rumble yesterday was that Finn Balor did not have his rainbow gear with him.

Finn Balor used Twitter to explain the reasoning behind this and said that his rainbow gear was a statement at WrestleMania weekend. “Although the gear has not been worn since in 6 appearances, my support continues despite any color choice, change or laundry schedule,” Balor added, noting that he did not wear the rainbow gear in Hartford, the South Africa tour, or St. Louis.

Being gay, lesbian, bi, or trans in Saudi Arabia is not permitted and the country has one of the worst LGBT rights records in the world. If you are caught engaging in such acts, punishment can be from a fine, to flogging, life in prison, torture, and even death.
