WWE ends Q3 2017 with 1.52 million paying Network subscribers

WWE ended the third quarter of 2017 with a total of 1,578,000 subscribers to the WWE Network, of which 1,522,000 are paid while the rest are on a free 30-day trial.

Both numbers are down from the previous quarter, where in Q2 2017 they had a total of 1,633,000 subscribers and out of that number, 1,568,000 were paid subscriptions. While the Q3 2017 number is 4% higher than the same period of last year, the company has 46,000 less paying subscribers compared to the previous quarter.

In the United States, there are 1.1 million subscribers while just over 400,000 subscribers are coming from the rest of the world. A total of just over 450,000 subscribers decided to ditch the service during the quarter while a bit over 390,000 were new subscribers.

WWE added more than 70 hours of original content to WWE Network’s featured programming and more than 600 hours of archival content, which resulted in an on-demand library of over 8,900 hours at quarter-end.
