The Empress of Tomorrow arrives tonight at TLC

The longest-reigning NXT Women’s champion will be making her main roster debut tonight, two months after she last wrestled at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III.

Asuka, who is the 7th longest reigning champion in WWE history, will be taking on Emma tonight on the pay-per-view in a rematch from the NXT Takeover: London event.

The Empress of Tomorrow has been out of action due to a broken collarbone she suffered against Ember Moon at Brooklyn III. She surrendered the NXT Women’s title to NXT General Manager William Regal at the following NXT television tapings, ending her 523-day title reign undefeated.

Asuka is the latest star to be called up from NXT and joined a growing list that has Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, and many others.
