John Cena returned to Monday Night Raw for the first time since the 2016 draft, and immediately called out Roman Reigns. The two – equally booed by the Brooklyn crowd – have been bad mouthing each other on Twitter lately.

Reigns remarked that Cena only runs his mouth on Twitter and now he was in “his yard” and was wondering if he was going to do the same face to face. Cena wanted to fight but the whole angle eventually led to a tag team match between Cena and Reigns vs The Miz and Samoa Joe, which Cena and Reigns won. Reigns hit the Superman punch on Cena by mistake during the match to escalate things.

The Brooklyn crowd had a lot of fun booing both Cena and Reigns and had a very loud “You both suck” chant going on earlier in the broadcast.
