Cody Rhodes suffered an injury during a match which aired yesterday on WWE Main Event on ION which was taped on Tuesday.

The former Intercontinental champion suffered a concussion and a strained shoulder according to WWE.COM and an MRI is being scheduled to determine the extent of his injuries. The injury occurred when Rhodes took a backdrop during the tag team match he was participating in.

Rhodes is part of Team Ziggler for the Survivor Series and his involvement is pretty much up to the MRI outcome and if the doctors clear him due to his concussion.
