Ember Moon officially pulled from NXT Takeover: Chicago

WWE today officially announced that Ember Moon will not be part of the NXT Women’s fatal 4-way match at NXT Takeover: Chicago due to a shoulder injury. More details will be given at this week’s NXT television show on the WWE Network.

Moon suffered a grade one shoulder sprain after Asuka attacked her during the number one contender’s match which aired last week on NXT. The match has now been changed to a triple threat with Asuka defending against Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross.

There are four matches so far on the card, including Bobby Roode vs Hideo Itami for the NXT title, The Authors of Pain vs #DIY in a ladder match from the NXT Tag Team titles, Tyler Bate vs Pete Dunne for the WWE UK title, and the triple threat match for the NXT Women’s title.
