Kurt Angle appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter Off The Top Rope segment with Jonathan Coachman last night to promote his WWE Hall of Fame induction.

Asked what his favorite match is, Angle said it’s difficult to pinpoint one but when it comes to WrestleMania, his matches against Brock Lesnar and Shawn Michaels are up there while his match against The Undertaker at No Way Out 2006 is one of his best.

Angle said he wishes he wrestled Superstars such as The Rock, Triple H, and Steve Austin later in his career when he hit his prime and said that he would love the fans to see his matches against AJ Styles, matches that happened in TNA. Angle never mentioned TNA by name in the interview.

The interview also tackled his addiction and rehab, like North Miami Drug and Alcohol Recovery – Transitions Recovery Program. Angle said that ever since he went through the ordeal, the whole experience made him a better husband, a better father, and a better man as he learned a lot from it. He said once you’re in a dark place and get out, you start to appreciate the finer things in life, such as family and love. Angle said that he has been clean for four years now and then talked about his Angle Strong Initiative.

The Coach then finished the interview asking Angle if we will ever see him in a WWE ring again. “I cannot say, right now I’m only focused on the Hall of Fame. Would I like to eventually? Yes,” Angle replied. He said that for now, he’ll enjoy this Hall of Fame journey and then he’ll go from there.
