WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony moves to Friday night

WWE has decided to flip the days of the NXT event and Hall of Fame during WrestleMania weekend.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is now set to take place on Friday, March 31, a day earlier than before. All previous Hall of Fame ceremonies have taken place on Saturday, the eve of WrestleMania.

The NXT event, most likely another NXT Takeover following the success of NXT Takeover: Dallas during the WrestleMania 32 weekend, will move to Saturday night instead of the Hall of Fame.

NXT Takeover: Dallas did not take place in the same arena as the Hall of Fame earlier this year and with the Amway Center set to host four back-to-back shows, it made more sense to put the Hall of Fame on a Friday and then transform the arena with the ring in the middle and leave it like that till Tuesday night for Smackdown.

Putting NXT on a Friday would put extra work on the crew since they would have to build the arena, then dismantle the ring and entrance for the Hall of Fame, and then set everything back up for the remaining two shows.
