First NSAC hearing for Brock Lesnar set for August 23

Brock Lesnar has a date with the Nevada State Athletic Commission on August 23, two days after SummerSlam in Brooklyn, New York.

The former WWE and UFC Heavyweight champion will be the subject of the NSAC temporary suspension hearing following his two failed drug tests leading up to UFC 200. Brock failed out-of-competition and in-competition drug tests which were administered by the USADA, UFC’s anti-doping agency partner.

Lesnar popped twice for clomiphene, a banned substance under the USADA/UFC drug policy. He is facing a two year suspension by the UFC for his first offense and additional punishment from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
