As reported earlier, WWE will be dropping the Night of Champions pay-per-view name in favor of Clash of Champions, a name which was made famous by NWA/WCW although under a slightly different variation of Clash of the Champions.

WWE this week released the logo that will be used and while the name is similar, the logo is completely different from what the NWA/WCW did. However the logo is virtually identical to the Night of Champions one with WWE just replacing “Night” with “Clash.”

The first ever WWE Clash of Champions will take place on September 25, 2016 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
