Kane talks upcoming brand split, relationship with Taker, and more on podcast

Our good friend Jeramie McPeek and his son Sam did a 15 minute interview with WWE Superstar Kane for their podcast Like Father Like Son.

Kane talked about the different characters he has played over the years (Christmas Creature, Isaac Yankem, Fake Diesel), his long-term relationship/feud with the Undertaker, his different Kane masks (did the leather one stink?) and his attack on the Phoenix Suns Gorilla back in 2003.

He also talked about a number of current events, including Shane’s return to WWE, Brock Lesnar fighting in UFC 200, Shaquille O’Neal as a wrestler, and the upcoming brand-split.

“I’m very excited about it. I think it’s going to give guys a lot of opportunity. I think it’s going to give us flexibility and variety in the shows that we don’t have right now, which is going to be good for everybody,” Kane said about the split. “And creatively, hopefully what we’ll be able to do is create products that stand alone, and in many ways, have audiences that are fans of both (shows), but for different reasons. If we’re able to achieve that, and be able to compete against ourselves in that way, I think it’s going to be a winner for everybody.”
