Emma suffers back injury

WWE.COM is reporting that Emma has suffered a back injury at last night’s non-televised live event in  Charlottesville, Virginia. “WWE.com has learned that Superstar Emma suffered a back injured last Sunday night during a WWE live event and is currently undergoing tests to determine the extent of her injuries,” the short statement read.

Emma did not actually wrestle during the show as the women’s match featured Paige, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks taking on Lana, Eva Marie, and Dana Brooke. Emma is in a program with Dana Brooke at the moment so it could be that her injury occurred before the show and she was replaced.

The angle with the duo against Becky Lynch was expected to continue tonight on Monday Night Raw with the WWE website planting some rumors about Lynch getting some help to even the odds. With the back injury now public it’s highly unlikely that Emma will be part of any action tonight.
