NBCUniversal held its yearly Cable Upfronts event today in New York at the Radio City Music Hall and this year WWE’s presence was rather minimal.
Only WWE Superstars John Cena, Nikki Bella and her retired sister Brie were present for the Upfronts and WWE was not really mentioned during the two hour presentation to advertisers and media buyers. This year all the NBCUniversal properties – including NBC, E!, USA Network, SyFy etc – had to share the same event rather than each having a separate presentation.
To compare with last year, Chris Jericho, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Titus O’Neil, Natalya, The Bella Twins, Eva Marie, and Hulk Hogan were all present for the show which was held at the Jacob Javits Center.
