Smackdown tapings attendance in Knoxville at shocking new low levels

The Smackdown tapings last night looked more of a TNA non-televised live event rather than a WWE television taping with a lot of empty seats judging from photos posted online.

The show was held at the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee, with the sections behind the cameras and sides completely covered apart from the ringside seats.

Thankfully the show is recorded and WWE can pipe in crowd noise – as they usually do – and carefully choose which shots make it to the final show.

You can see 7 photos from the empty arena below courtesy of Twitter users johncenaAm and TrueFansOfWWE.
