Madison Square Garden honors Rowdy Roddy Piper

Madison Square Garden has honored WWE Hall of Famer Rowdy Roddy Piper by putting his image on the electronic board on top of MSG’s entrance.

“RIP Rowdy Roddy Piper – One of the all-time great performers at Madison Square Garden,” read the message on the board accompanying the picture of Piper wearing the Hot Rod WWE t-shirt.

The image was posted on MSG’s Twitter account saying that Piper was “a friend to us all,” and “you will be missed.”

Piper wrestled at Madison Square Garden countless times during his WWE career and was an integral part of the main event of the first ever WrestleMania.
