Rumors are flying around that Hollywood movie star George Clooney broke up with his girlfriend and former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler.

The rumors started with British tabloid newspaper The Sun – which is famous for these kind of stories – quoting a friend of Keibler saying, “She said George wants to be on his own again and has no intention of getting married.”

The newspaper then said that a statement is expected any day announcing that the duo have split amicably.

Clooney’s rep reacted quickly to dismiss the story, at least for now.

“A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers,” his spokesman said.

The two have been dating since August of last year.
