Shawn Michaels tapped to replace Bruce Prichard next year

PWInsider is reporting in an exclusive story that Shawn Michaels is being tapped to replace Bruce Prichard once he retires from WWE in early 2027.

Prichard currently holds the position of WWE Executive Director of Creative Writing and Talent while Michaels is Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative.

The 61-year-old WWE Hall of Famer currently runs NXT and developmental for WWE and this would be a significant position upgrade for him as Prichard holds one of the most important roles in the company and is #2 to Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

When he moves to the position, it will create an open spot to run the NXT brand and help coach up and coming WWE Superstars.

Prichard will remain as a consultant for WWE but will not be reporting to WWE HQ in Stamford or attend shows.
