WWE UK Championship Live special on the WWE Network today

The WWE United Kingdom Championship Live special will be airing on the WWE Network today with a start time geared towards the UK audience.

The show, taped in the first weekend of May at Epic Studios in Norwich, will kick off on the Network at 8PM GMT, which is 3PM EST. A repeat of the show will air at 8PM EST, which was the original show time when it was announced. WWE also changed the day, moving it from Thursday to cater to the UK audience.

Headlining the show will be two matches: Trent Steven vs Pete Dunne for the number one contender for the WWE UK title, and Tyler Bate vs Mark Andrews for the UK title. The winners of both matches will meet tomorrow at NXT Takeover: Chicago for the title.

Making this 90-minute show a bit more special is the fact that WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross will be doing commentary along with Nigel McGuinness. McGuinness, who is now a permanent member of the NXT announce team, will also be joined by JR tomorrow for the WWE UK title match at NXT Takeover.

If you don’t have the WWE Network, you can get the first month for free if you are a new subscriber by going to http://w-o.it/wwentwrk.
