WWE supporting its largest ever staff on payroll

In their latest 10-K filings with the United States Securities and Exchange, WWE revealed that as of February 2016 they had 840 employees, their largest ever payroll.

The addition of employees was due to more manpower needed to run and operate the WWE Network and original shows. Apart from in-house employees, WWE has contracted personnel for their weekly television production.

This 840 headcount excludes the Superstars and Divas who WWE classify them as independent contractors.

“We believe that our relationships with our employees are good. None of our employees are represented by a union,” the document said.
