WWE sells 84,000 tickets for WrestleMania 32 so far

Dave Meltzer reported in the newest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE has sold around 84,000 tickets for WrestleMania 32 which legit breaks the the all-time attendance record for a WWE event.

The often-hyped 93,173 attendance at WrestleMania III was an inflated number from the around 78,000 tickets that the company sold. The real record was held by SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley Stadium in London which had 79,127 tickets sold.

Meltzer believes that WWE will announce a number greater than the WrestleMania III “record” with the 100,000 figure being floated around. At this point, WWE will be releasing additional seats once production space is figured out but if they open the standing room only space, then they could legit sell over 90,000 tickets and close to the 100,000 number.
