WWE denies racism allegation for O’Neil’s suspension

The New York Post reached out to WWE to comment on allegations that their suspension of Titus O’Neil was racially motivated, something that fans online also wondered. WWE however refuted the serious allegation.

“The suspension of Titus O’Neil had nothing to do with race and everything to do with unprofessional conduct,” WWE said in a statement issued to the Post. In addition to that short statement, WWE also said that O’Neil acknowledged “the gravity of his mistake” and proceeded to forward the text of a text message that O’Neil allegedly sent.

“I feel like sh– now so if you have to let me go, I understand. Stupid mistake,” he wrote, according to WWE.

Meanwhile, one of O’Neil’s biggest friends, Dave Bautista, wrote on Twitter that he called him and suggested to him to ask for his release.
