What is going to air on the WWE Network?

The WWE Network will launch with over a thousand hours of footage on day one, with additional programming being added throughout the year. WWE has over 100,000 hours of footage in their vast wrestling library and they produce 6 hours of original programming every week with their RAW, Smackdown, and other television shows.

WWE will be producing Network-specific shows including pre and post shows for RAW, Smackdown, and pay-per-views, with the first one set for February 24 following RAW. Replays of RAW and Smackdown will air on the Network as well.

Uncut and unedited pay-per-views from WWE, WCW, and ECW will also be part of the on-demand library, which means even Chris Benoit will be featured on the Network, although with an advisory before the show starts.

Three new series will launch – WWE Countdown, Monday Night War: RAW vs Nitro, and WrestleMania Rewind. A reality TV show called Legends House, taped two years ago, will also air as part of the Network. NXT and Superstars will also air on the Network.

All twelve WWE pay-per-views – Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, WrestleMania, Payback, Extreme Rules, Money In The Bank, Battleground, SummerSlam, Night of Champions, Hell In A Cell, Survivor Series, and TLC – will be part of the Network subscription so all those who subscribe don’t have to order the pay-per-view.

All programming will air in 720p HD and pay-per-views will have Spanish commentary option available. All shows will be closed-captioned as well.
