Triple H, Stephanie, and Stardust make kid’s dream come true

Eight year old boy Elijah Mainville probably had the best day of his life yesterday during Monday Night Raw as he was “signed to a contract” in the middle of the ring during one of the commercial breaks.

Mainville has been battling neuroblastoma cancer for five years and is going for his fourth round of chemotherapy soon. His cancer was in remission in April but returned in July.

Mainville’s wish was to meet his favorite Superstar, Stardust, and his family taped a short video as a tryout for Tough Enough just for fun but never sent it to WWE. The video was uploaded and WWE got a hold of it and invited him and his family to Raw with all expenses paid.

During the in-ring segment which did not air on television, the eight year old revealed his wrestling name as Drax Shadow and his catchphrase was “Don’t fear the darkness, fear the shadow,” which got a nice pop from the crowd. Triple H introduced him as the new WWE Superstar as he celebrated with Stardust. Stephanie McMahon was also present in the ring.
