Stephanie McMahon and John Cena ring the opening bell at the NYSE

The WWE logo was splashed all over the New York Stock Exchange monitors today as Stephanie McMahon and John Cena rang the opening bell of the NYSE today. McMahon and Cena were joined by seven wish kids from the Make-A-Wish Foundation and David Williams, the CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation also accompanied the group.

Stephanie live streamed the whole thing via Facebook Live from her cell phone and let’s just say she does not have a career as a camera operator! “Where’s Triple H?” asked one of the wish kids during the live streaming, and Steph replied, “He’s at work!”

The NYSE guy escorting Stephanie and Cena told them that at 9:29:30 they will start clapping and smiling as this is always a live broadcast on television. McMahon pointed out that they’re already live on her cell phone. He then said that at 9:29:50, Cena and one of the wish kids will hit the bell to start the new trading day.

Stephanie was also explaining how Facebook Live works to the Make-A-Wish CEO and mentioned that she had over 14,000 fans watching live at that particular moment.
